I joined Counterweight Private Wealth in 2026 to serve clients and help make sense of what can otherwise feel overwhelming. I see my role as being a steady guide and trusted partner in the decisions that shape our clients' lives.
As a wealth advisor, I listen first, communicate clearly, and advocate for the people I serve. Understanding what matters most to each client comes before any strategy, and it shapes how I approach financial planning. I believe personal finance is indeed personal, and good planning should center on the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Being a fiduciary means I am held to the standard of always acting in my clients’ best interest.
Before joining Counterweight, I spent more than four years with a private wealth advisory practice, working directly with clients to design and implement wealth strategies around their goals, values, and stage of life. Over that time, I built a strong foundation in comprehensive wealth management.
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner and hold degrees in Finance and Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
My wife, Audri, and I recently moved from Fort Wayne, Indiana to the Raleigh area, and we’re excited to make North Carolina home. Outside of work, we enjoy traveling, staying active, finding good coffee, and exploring new places together.
My faith and relationships play a meaningful role in my life. I serve regularly in our church and value opportunities to encourage and walk alongside others.

- I participated in the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain, and thankfully lived to tell the tale.
- I hiked an active volcano in Guatemala. Volcán de Fuego erupted nearly every 15 minutes!
- I'm a lifelong Cubs fan and will always catch a baseball game any chance I get.
- I’m a big fan of indie folk and country music, and I’m always looking to discover new artists and songs.
- I enjoy challenging myself both physically and mentally, whether that’s pushing myself in the gym, learning something new, or taking on an experience that’s outside my comfort zone.
